CONFIGURATION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
V. W. Strain gauge is designed to measure strain in supplemental steels such as struts and piles of temporary structures.
Once the gauge is strained, frequency of vibrating wire is changed, then plucking coil generate resonance frequency and it is delivered to measuring instrument.
At this time, the measuring instrument will be shown after changing this signal into strain. Then measured data will be converted into stress or load by modulus of elasticity and the surface of the steels.
PURPOSE
Monitoring strain in structural steels of buildings, bridges.
Monitoring loads in strutting systems for retaining walls.
Measuring strain in tunnel linings and supports.
Monitoring areas of concentrated stress in pipelines.
Monitoring concentrated stress changes of strut with the earth pressure which is caused of ground variations by installing to the strut to support under retaining wall construction.
Monitoring concentrated stress changes of members and concrete of earth retaining structures by installing to Piles, Wale, strut or various steels under urban excavation.
