V.W. Rebar Stress Meter is designed to measure strain of Slurry Walls, Concrete piles, Caissons, Osterberg pile tests, other concrete structure.

Rebar Stress Meter is composed of V.W. Strain Gage installed in the center of a cylinder steel bar and a plucking coil and deformed bars combined on both sides.

Once the gage installed in a cylinder steel bar is strained, frequency of the vibrating wire will be changed.

At this time, a plucking coil generates resonance frequency and sends it to the measuring instrument.

The measuring instrument shows this signal in required unit and By the given conversion factor, it is converted into strain or stress.
