CONFIGURATION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
V.W. displacement sensor is composed of sensors and mounting blocks and measures strain or crack by fixing the mounting blocks on both sides where crack developed.
Once a crack or displacement developed, it is delivered to the sensor through mounting block and then, to the sensor.
At this time, frequency becomes different depending on amount of cracks.
The measured frequency is converted into displacement by conversion factor.
* Caution: Impossible to install block in head center part.
PURPOSE
Measuring size changes of surface joint in stone or concrete structure and crack.
Monitoring the size changes of crack in adjacent building or structure, joint part that were caused by unexpected structure behavior
Checking the cracking situation of structure in seismic area
Measuring progress of crack in outworn tunnel, bridges.
