CONFIGURATION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
V.W. Piezometer is designed to supply water and measure water level for excavation wall, check the slope stability, measure pore pressure in embankment and soft ground, check the flow and leak of underground water in dams and banks.
V.W. Piezometer is composed of diaphram, vibrating wire, plucking coil, temperature sensor and filter. once pressure is given to the diaphragm of pressure sensor, tension of vibrating steel wire is changed and plucking coil senses the changes in the frequency of vibrating wire. At this time, the primary coil generates a frequency signal on the vibrating wire, then the secondary coil sends the frequency to a measuring instrument.
The measured frequency is converted into pressure through calibration factors.

HOW TO INSTALL
Supply water and measure water level for excavation wall, check the slope stability, measure pore pressure in embankment and soft ground.
Used for measuring the flow and leak of underground water in dams and banks.
Judge stability by measuring changes in excess pore pressure of site work.
Measure pore pressure to decide water supply condition and a safety factor for excavation and digging.
Study on the stability of slope and ground.
Measure the flow and leak of underground water in dam, artificial lake and bank.
Measure changes of pore pressure inside the ground incurred in embankment of soft ground. Then install in the clay layer in the middle of geotextiles to analyze the percent consolidation trend.
During port reclaimed work, installed to measure the pore pressure in the riprap filter area and the rear reclaimed area.
During work of center core type stone dam, install in the bedrock foundation(U/S,D/S) of dam, to check whether the seepage flow occurs in sub foundation and confirm the order grouting effect.
Measure the excess pore pressure under core zone construction or check the seepage line after desalination and then evaluate adequacy of seep runoff, install in the dam system-core level to calculate seeping speed.
Check the function of filter by installing inside the filter level of top and bottom flow.
Install in the banquette of the slope and measure pore pressure of the slope.
To measure pore pressure inside the ground according to urban excavation, install in the rear ground of the mud wall.
