CONFIGURATION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE
V.W Shotcrete Stress meter is used to measure stress in the radian and the tangential direction of tunnel shotcrete.
Once the gage is strained, frequency of vibrating wire will be changed, At this time a plucking coil generate resonance frequency and send it to the measuring instrument.
The measuring instrument will show this signal after changing it into strain.
Then it is converted into stress by the given conversion factor and modulus of elasticity of Shotcrete, and measured strain.

PURPOSE
V.W Shotcrete Stress Meter is used to measure stress in the radian and the tangential direction of tunnel Shotcrete.
Useful in measuring magnitude of force, direction on lining, deciding thickness of lining and the timing of the second placing by combining convergence measurement, vibrating wire type underground displacement gage, vibrating wire type rock bolt axial force meter.
FEATURES
Very stable and reliable to operate even in an extreme situation.
Very high reproducibility and response because frequency output is not affected by the length of cable or resistance variation.
HOW TO INSTALL
When shotcrete placing, install 2~4 anchor bolt at the installation point.
Put epoxy on solid matter to adhere radial direction sensor to the ground
Fix sensor and anchor bolt with deformed wire or Cable Tie..
After protective working on measuring cable, attach the sign to classify radial and tangential direction.
Using measuring instrument, connect with measuring cable then record the measured value.
